Chapter 18
“Good morning, Alessa. Have breakfast.” Alessa’s mother said when she came down to the dirty kitchen that morning. She breathed in the smell of the fried rice as well as the bread and smiled widely because there was still tomato sauce on the table, so she sat down immediately. “Sit over there in the dining area.”
“I’ll just eat here, mom,” she said.
Because there were two people to eat in the big mansion. One was in the dirty kitchen where the maids ate while the Villaruiz family was in the dining area.
“Alright, Alessa. Wait, I’ll just fix it there and then we’ll eat together,” her mother said and brought out another dish.
Alessa prepared two dishes and spooned the rice. She didn’t start eating because she was still waiting for her mother.
Today, she didn’t have a plan on whether she would apply or if she would rest for a few more days. Alessa also didn’t know if she would be able to return to the hospital it left her from, even if she left there safel
