Chapter 10
Gwen's POV
Our new teacher is not to my liking, even though everyone likes him and thinks he has brought us together, I don't believe he has. They only created an ideology of what Conrad could be for us. Harper also thinks that he has helped us a lot, and as a person, it might be understandable, but as an adult, he is not the person I would have hired if I were the principal—or so I thought until he taught us two days ago. He has been explaining and instructing us about things that teachers generally don't talk about. He does it informally and presents it as if it were a story.
That makes the class more engaging and interactive. He is a good teacher, he has a different way of looking at things, but he helps you understand them. He knows how to explain and what to say when someone doesn't fully comprehend. It's as if he was born for this. I don't understand why it took me so long to come to this realization. I always tried to have faith in him, but I wasn't very convinced
