Chapter 34. A Letter

Two medium-sized chocolate cup cake with cream on top looked appetizing, and Alice was amazed at the effort Harry’s ex-wife put into bringing this gift to her boss. However, unfortunately, the man rejected this gift without even knowing what it actually contained.

“This cake looks delicious; the scent alone is very appetizing.” Alice smiled with an amazed expression, but a few seconds later, her amazed expression turned sad.

“It would be a shame to throw this away; would it be better for me to take it and eat it? But what if Mr. Harry doesn’t allow it? Or, what if this cake turns out to be poisoned? Alice covered her mouth with a shocked expression.
