Chapter 35. Unfinished Chat
Alice frowned; the man did not continue his sentence. He looked troubled, and Alice couldn’t understand what was going on with him.
“Just tell me now, sir, because my taxi will be here soon,” Alice said.
“Yes, Miss. I’m sorry. Look, I wanted to ask, did Mr. Harry receive any gifts in his office?” The question finally came up.
Alice looked puzzled at the man. “You know about the parcel?”
The man nodded. “Yes, because…”
