Chapter 41. Like a Fool
“You don’t need to panic; it’s getting better, and it will get better,” Harry said soothingly to the kind-hearted woman.
Emma nodded her head. “That’s all right, sir. You’d better go inside and get some rest,” Emma said, still with a panicked expression and a heart full of worry.
As Harry stepped into his house, the man rushed to his room and left Emma behind. He immediately went to the bathroom to clean himself up, and with great care, Harry did so.
Harry was wearing a plain white T-shirt and knee-length shorts. His hair was half wet and messy; he hadn’t even had time to comb his messy hair. He sat on a sofa facing the balcony; the afternoon sunlight was visible from where he sat.
The man already felt more refreshed than before, although his heart still felt a sense of unrest because of Alice. He was still shocked and could not understand the attitude of his secretary.
