Chapter 8. Shaming the Traitor
“Wow, she’s very aggressive. You’d better meet her soon or my door knob will break.” Harry pushed Jeff out of the way, shaking his head at the drama of Jeff’s domestic romance with Natalie, which he felt was too much.
After Jeff and Natalie left, it was now left to Harry alone. The man let out a long sigh and smiled wryly; he couldn’t imagine ending up as a widower who lost his wife to infidelity. However, it was okay for him; Harry had long gone through his worst phase. Career failures, marriage failures—he’s been through it all.
“Finally, I’m back in this position,” said Harry with a sense of pride, the man looking very happy for what he had achieved.
“I think tonight I should make a celebration for myself, maybe dinner alone at a restaurant?” Harry thought about pleasing himself. He smiled wryly with a plan in his head.
