Chapter 9. Alice, the New Secretary
Harry smiled at Angeline and Daniel’s departure; that way they wouldn’t be able to underestimate him anymore. Harry was no longer a pathetic failure; he had been transformed into an authoritative, wealthy man. His business was everywhere; businessmen knew him, and many of them tried to work with him. Harry has always been known to be broad-minded, intelligent, and creative, good at coming up with fresh, brilliant ideas. However, most of them considered him a failed businessman just because he was hit by bankruptcy. But isn’t luck not always on our side?
That night, Harry enjoyed dinner alone. The strains of classical music accompanied Harry’s celebration; he didn’t care if no one accompanied him that night.
