That weekend blurs together in a hazy dream. I can’t stop touching Lydia. We spend hours having sex and sharing stories in between. The stories range from funny and silly to sad and sincere.

This isn’t just having another body to get lost in. I’m getting to know Lydia and all her little quirks. She asks me an endless amount of questions, trying to learn as much about me as she can. I could listen to her talk for hours, discussing the most mundane of subjects.

The pillow talk gets more and more random. We’re lying in my bed under the covers. Lydia is resting on her stomach, leaning on her elbows and her face propped in her hands. I’m on my back and trying not to stare at the swell of her breasts.

“I would clearly be the one to survive in a natural disaster,” Lydia declares. “A healer would be invaluable and I would be able to help so many people.”
