We hear the news about Burgundy Bay from Alpha Gerald. A collective dismay clouds over us all as we realize how close we have been to getting Lydia home. The news devastates Coit who has shifted into his wolf form and refuses to change back. He’s been sleeping in the forest, avoiding everyone in the pack including our mother.

Coit has tried to go after Lydia and had to be stopped by our male staff at Moon Grove several times. Eventually, we hauled him back home, and now, my Beta, Darius, is staying out in the woods with him to keep an eye on Coit and prevent him from doing something foolish.
