We hear the news about Burgundy Bay from Alpha Gerald. A collective dismay clouds over us all as we realize how close we have been to getting Lydia home. The news devastates Coit who has shifted into his wolf form and refuses to change back. He’s been sleeping in the forest, avoiding everyone in the pack including our mother.

Coit has tried to go after Lydia and had to be stopped by our male staff at Moon Grove several times. Eventually, we hauled him back home, and now, my Beta, Darius, is staying out in the woods with him to keep an eye on Coit and prevent him from doing something foolish. Darius keeps me up to date on what’s going on in Moon Grove. We’re both worried about my brother.

I had to go home to the castle. I hate that we weren’t able to get to Lydia, but I can’t stay away from my son when there are so many people looking for her. And I trust Rainer. He’ll get her back, I just know it.
