“I dreamed about… what happened to Jackson in my first life…” I sighed deeply and paused for a moment. “He… he was killed… he was murdered by someone in my first life…”

I swallowed hard a few times and closed my eyes. I also looked up, hoping that these actions would stop my tears from forming.

As I looked into Lee’s eyes, I felt the pity and concern she had for me. She must have really been worried when she heard me crying while I was sleeping and having a bad dream. I also felt her heartbeat racing and her slight trembling as I hugged her and as she caressed my back earlier.
