Chapter 100. Disco Lights

Maddie could not stop staring at the line, maybe this was not such a good idea. How were they going to get in? Jacob may have had a powerful father but almost everyone on the line either had more money than he did or was just like him. 

She could not help but imagine that if she were with Nate, it would have been much easier to get in, considering that he was the Alpha of the pack. But she was not with him; she was with Jacob. 

She really needed to stop comparing both of them to each other, it was not healthy for her or for them. 

“The line is long as f*ck, we should have come sooner,” Jacob broke the silence, pulling Maddie out of her thoughts. 

“Yeah, but it’s fine. We don’t have to go clubbing tonight,” She said in response. She did want to go but the thought of doing something new for the first time made her stomach churn. 

“Yeah, we do. Come on, let’s see if we can talk to the bouncer,” Jacob suggested.
