Chapter 25. Broken Rooms, Broken Dreams

The room had been stripped bare, almost everything that Maddie owned had been stolen. She could not believe that this had happened, she already did not have enough to begin with. And now look how things had gone. 

The only thing she owned now was the dress she had on, wearing it to school on Monday was a thought that sent shivers down her spine. 

She needed to get to the bottom of this. Yeah, she had heard about other omegas being robbed and their rooms being broken into when they were not home, but it had never happened to her…at least until now. 

There was no sign that the door had been broken or anything. So that meant the person that came in here had a key to enter her room. The thought scared her because that meant that she could be sleeping and someone could easily just enter her room. 

Maddie glanced around the room once more before walking out and going to find someone to help with the situation. She walked downstairs, her heart thumping
