Chapter 91. The Meeting

Maddie did not like the sound of that but she knew that was what she had to do. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly before wiping the tears that had just escaped her eyes. She sat on the couch and nodded before speaking. 

“Thank you,” She said to Jacob. “Thank you for not judging me and I do hope that you will not look at me differently. I’m still the Maddie that you know.” She smiled sadly. 

Jacob scoffed playfully. “Don’t worry about that, I told you, nothing will make me look at you differently. I still want to be with you. I still would like to mark you on your birthday if you only give me the chance.” 

Maddie felt her heart melt, she liked how supportive Jacob was being but she felt a bit sorry for him because he did not know the full story. He did not know that her bloodline was in fact responsible for killing the Luna.
