Chapter 96. Fine Dining
“Stop looking at me like that,” Maddie chuckled the words out as she felt her cheeks heat up. “I said stop, you’re being weird, Jacob!” She laughed freely, trying to cover up the fact that she was so flustered right now.
“How am I looking at you?” Jacob asked, but he knew. He did not expect her to catch him admiring her but she had and he was in no way ashamed of it. “Tell me you don’t like it and I will stop.” He liked that she was blushing, it made butterflies dance in his stomach.
He could not stop staring at her, watching her like this. It was so cute.
“Jacob,” She warned him, but he continued. “Gosh,” She mumbled, hiding behind the menu playfully. But a few eyes landed on them from the other customers, causing Maddie to sit up straight.
