Ethan’s POV
“You know, it's probable that several individuals might experience discomfort with an adult loitering outside a classroom window like a creep.” From my back, Lowell lets out a laugh.
I spin around to confront him and take note of him primping his hair in the mirror and meticulously tucking in his shirt. “I have to know she’s okay.” I tell him. He pushes his sunglasses up and takes a deep breath, feeling the chill of the brick against his skin.
“She’s fine.” Lowell says, crossing his arms over his chest. “We’ve got her Ethan.”
As he says ‘we’ Owen walks around the corner, taking a j**nt from his cargo shorts pocket. He holds it between his fingers, putting it in front of my brother to light.
“That’s exactly why I’m worried.” I gesture to the both of them as Owen takes a hit and passes it to Lowell, who also takes a drag of it.
“There’s absolutely nothing to be worried about.” Lowell shakes his head.
