Chapter 64
Sky's POV
Even before we step foot inside our house, I am greeted by the audible noise of teeth snarling and snapping. Occasions arise when I find myself overcome by flashes of fear and anger, however, I recognize that these moments are not a part of my true self, and I make a conscious effort to let them fade away rapidly. They belong to Ethan.
“Lowell,”
“I know.” He says quietly as he presses his foot harder on the gas.
As we make our way, we come across many pack members, some in their human form while others are in their wolf form, all of whom are moving towards the same destination. In his rush to get to his house, Lowell presses his hand firmly on the horn, hoping to clear the way and avoid any accidents, but unfortunately, all the cars are headed in the same direction, and we end up coming to a complete stop.
