Kyle’s POV

“Get the hell out of my way!” Shouting and pushing me aside, the person I call my father, who is nothing but a waste of space, turns his attention to the window to admire the glowing moon. With an expression of complete disbelief, he turns to face me with wide eyes, a dropped jaw, and a head shaking from side to side. “She was right. She said this was coming.”

“What are you talking about?” The disgust is clear in my voice.

“The woman.” He points down the hall where his bedroom is. As if by magic, a breathtakingly gorgeous young lady elegantly glided down the hallway, donning an all-black ensemble.
