Chapter 17. Not Part of the Family Anymore

"Look, many people liked the concept of our wedding yesterday. They were impressed with the decorations, too. Very satisfied." Sarah showed her wedding photo to her husband. Ryan just nodded slowly after taking a glance at it. "Is it more luxurious than your wedding with Lily?"

"Sarah, I don't want to cause trouble this morning," replied Ryan, who didn't like Sarah's questions that always brought Lily's name into every discussion.

"I'm only asking because I was in Germany at the time.""Very fancy." Scott's voice came in between the couple's conversations. He sat not far from where Ryan was stirring the coffee. "I was their witness."

"How much was it?" Sarah asked curiously.

"Sarah! Never mind." Ryan didn't like Sarah's question. His gaze now turned to Scott, who was casually sitting in a chair, chewing his food. "You, stay out of my business. Aren't you after Lily too? Why don't you marry her now?"

"Your talk is crossing the line. I won't answer that,"
