Chapter 10
“What do you want?” Lucas asked, his eyes firm on the fling. “You, Lucas. Only for a night and after that I do not care what you and your fiancée whore does.”
Whore?
“Don’t you ever speak of her like that,” Lucas roared out a warning. He trailed the fling’s neck with his finger and grasped it, then pulled her closer. “I am sure you do not want your dad’s media company to go bankrupt,” he gave her a smirk, intently letting her know he meant it as a threat. “If you dare publish anything about me or my fiancée,” he leaned in enough, the fling tried to move back but he held her tight. “That will be the very last thing you’ll ever publish as a journalist; I will make sure of it.”
The way her eyes widened and stilled meant she understood him, he gave her a brief kiss on the forehead. “Now be a good little girl, and never try to threaten me, ever,”
