Then he leaned over the center console of the car, his hand moving to her arm, trailing up slowly until she shuddered. Then he put it on the back of her neck, drawing her face to his.

His breath was minty as he kissed her. She felt the melting again, her body moving towards him, the console between them and her seatbelt holding her back when she really wanted to feel his body pressed hard against hers. His tongue flicked her lips, moving past them and into her mouth to stroke her tongue. The kiss took everything from her—all thought, all resistance.

He pulled back, leaving her red-lipped and wide eyed looking at him.

“Now I’m seducing you,” he said. “Come inside.” The tingle started in her legs again as he said come inside like that. It was a request, but it was also an order, his deep voice challenging her and drawing her in. She felt a fear mingled with excitement, both emotions fighting each other, neither one quite winning out. Her body throbbed
