DETECTIVE JONES’ APARTMENT

The newly risen sun stretched its golden fingers across the sky, ushering in a new day. The night had been hectic for Detective Jones as he tried to catch up with the rest of the rogue wolves from Mr. Cole’s pack. It had been a successful mission with the clandestine wolves.

He was still fast asleep. His alarm clock rocked so hard that he couldn’t ignore it anymore. It was the third time the clock had rocked to get him to wake up.

Detective Jones yawned like a hungry hippo and stretched himself. He turned off the clock and climbed down his bed, mumbling to himself, “Today, be good to me.”
