Chapter 80. Chicago Wolves
The memories of the streets of Chicago were still fresh in Detective Jones’s mind as if it had happened yesterday. He had lived in Chicago a decade ago when he was still a werewolf.
Their taxi pulled up in front of the Dooley Hotel. Detective Jones hadn’t come alone. He had come with one member from the clandestine wolves and two members from the secret wolf society. Their plan had just landed a few minutes ago.
Just like the council was the governing body of the clandestine wolves without an alpha, the league was the governing body of the Secret Wolf Society. The council was made up of twelve members, and so was the league. In the council, decisions were made by voting, whereas in the league, decisions were made by the alpha or the acting alphas.
Detective Jones made his way to the reception as the three other wolves followed him. Their rooms had already been booked. All they needed was to collect their keys.
They passed the receptionist their booking number
