Two months later, I had come to one conclusion: Hans and Rio existed solely to test my patience.
I sighed, pressing my forehead against the cool wood of the kitchen counter as the scent of something absolutely disgusting wafted through the air. I didn’t even know what it was, but it was offensive. Who in their right mind cooks this early in the morning?
A chair scraped against the floor behind me. “Luna, are you alright?” One of the pack omegas asked cautiously.
I lifted my head, glaring at the innocent skillet of eggs like it had personally wronged me. “That smells awful.”
The omega blinked. “It’s just—”
“I know what it is.” I waved a dismissive hand before she could finish. “Just… put it far, far away from me.”
