Chapter 35

Just before it was time for afternoon tea, Nocturne and I headed to the lounge room located next to the lobby.

 “I want a lemon tea.” Nocturne told Sofia as we walked. She had switched places with Jenna only a few minutes after Nocturne decided to make a gift for Raymond and had remained with us ever since.

 “I will let the maids preparing your tea know.” Sofia said before scurrying off. Andrew escorted us to the lounge room and stayed with us until Sofia returned.

 “I will go make sure everything is being prepared well by our new chef.” He announced.

 “Very well.” Nocturne dismissed him. I pulled out the newest addition to my outfit, a silver pocket watch that I had bought on my last shopping trip.

 “She is someone who is a stickler about being on time. She will most likely be here soon.” I commented. Nocturne was too busy looking at my pocket watch to respond. “My lady?” I asked her.
