Chapter 80

After learning more about Tier from Nocturne and Kosma, I could feel the pressure that I was under. I had never considered Nocturne’s parents before. I never even imagined that I would ever meet her father. Now I had the added stress of winning him over and getting his permission to marry Nocturne. The way Kosma spoke of Tier showed me that she even walked on eggshells around him. Was he truly not as whimsical as his mother or his daughter? Was he always that way or did something happen that forced him to change?

“Perhaps it has to deal with Nocturne’s mother…” I said aloud as I got out of bed. I had decided to sleep in my room the night before due to Nocturne’s stress level caused by the impending visit.
