“They are not asking for money,” Vic took out a cigarette and lit it, holding it with his lips.
“Well, they’ve been monitoring our road. Do they want the gun business with the Horn cartel?” Jay took a good guess but Vic shook his head slowly.
“They want two of our men in exchange for her.” He finally let out a huff of smoke from his cigarette.
“Fuck,” Jay muttered. Cain just swallowed. “Well, we’re obviously not doing that.”
“You should have let me go there,” Cain argued.
“No, Cain. If you had gone there, they’d have killed you, and killed her, are you out of your fucking mind?” Jay became distressed.
“So what now?” Cain asked, but everywhere had fallen silent. “What are we going to do?” He repeated and Vic just puffed smoke again.
“Nothing,” He finally said.
Cain chortled, hoping he was joking. “What do you mean nothing?”
“There’s nothing we can do about this, Cain. We’re not giving them two of our men,” he paused.
