Chapter 88
Cain sighed again. “Yes, I am. Understand it or not, I’m going to get her back. I’d really appreciate it if you could back me up here.”
“Does Vic know about this?”
“No, not yet. You could let him know.” Jay heard Cain reply nonchalantly.
“You know damn well that this could be a trap, don’t you? You walk into the Wolves’ clubhouse, it’s a good trap. You don’t even know for sure that they took her there.”
“…” Cain stopped where he stood in front of his safe to get the guns.
“Stay put where you are, I’m coming to you.” Jay told him and ended the call, but Cain wasn’t really planning on listening to him and waiting longer while Liana was with the wolves.
He unlocked the safe and selected three handy guns he needed and started to load them with bullets when he heard a brief bang on his door. He exhaled out loud, assuming it was Jay.
