His weight against me didn’t let me move or so much as squirm, and I couldn’t bite his hand off my mouth because he had rubber gloves on. My hands were itching to claw at him, but they were also pinned in front of me, and I could barely see a damn thing.
“You… perplex me. In so many f*cking ways,” he muttered, making me groan. I hated the way the soft rumble against my ear sent a tingle through my entire body, sparking emotions to life inside me.
