Chapter 12
RHIANNON
My body felt different, numb and immobile, yet I could feel my hands spread on the soft surface.
Where am I?
I had lost consciousness yesterday. My head ached badly, my arms felt sore, and my throat was dry too. I looked to the side—his eyes met mine, and my body jolted.
“What do you want?” I asked angrily.
“You know what I want.” He bit a corner of his bottom lip.
I noticed an injury on the spot.
“You kidnapped me! I’m going to report you to the police—this has gone out of hand!” I yelled, trying my best to move my arms.
“You can call the cops on me when you gain the ability to move.” He moved closer to me, took the bottle of water that lay on the table, and handed it to me.
“Get away from me,” I snapped, moving my body with enough strength to smack the bottle out of his hand.
