Adam now comprehended why she acted so strangely and preferred solitude. She had clearly been traumatized by various factors around him. He realized his mistake in leaving her alone and not giving her enough attention.

“Sorry, girl… I was careless not to notice your struggles. I won’t be like that in the future,” Adam mumbled softly.

After his words, she became calm, smiling unconsciously in her sleep. It appeared that she might be having a pleasant dream. He wondered if she dreamt about her sister or something related. Various thoughts raced through his mind.

After ensuring she was peacefully asleep, he exited the room and took a deep breath. Despite her prolonged struggle, she hadn’t been a bother, showing her stubbornness. He returned to his room for the night.
