“I’m more comfortable around you,” Grace rapped in one go. Later, she shut her mouth with her hand, red tints dusted over her cheeks.

“If you insist,” Adam took the quilt and approached the bed, making the latter’s heart go boom in a second. “I have a few works to complete. You can sleep. If the lights disturb you, I will go to study.” Adam took his laptop out of the bag and waited for her reply.

“No, no… I’m not sleepy yet. You can do your work here.”

Adam nodded.

“Why is he always busy with his laptop? Bad big man,” Grace mumbled, while a cute pout grew on her mouth, which was unnoticed by Adam. Soon Grace realized what just happened and her heart palpitated thinking of slipping into the little space once again and would trouble Adam even more.

Gathering her strength, she started to think of something that could give peaceful, happy memories that could be countable for her.
