Chapter 20. Survive!

“You don’t have to do this!” Jimmy spoke up hastily. “We were brought on board because of the princess…”

“Liar!” the first creature yelled out in his static voice, interrupting Jimmy. Rolling his humongous half-green eyes at Jimmy and Becky, he continued, “The princess would never let humans ride on her Sulaco!”

These were the fleet members of Alicia. She didn’t travel alone, and her Nostromo didn’t set course alone. There were more than forty cryosleep chambers still intact, with the creatures hibernating inside, ready to take on the form of humans.

As the two other creatures approached, Jimmy drew back with Becky. “Let’s not do this,” he said, trying to reason with them.

They were furiously staring down at them and didn’t seem like they wanted to back down. With their lethal weapons pointed toward Jimmy and Becky, Becky positioned her dagger and waved it threateningly. “Stay back!” she said.
