Chapter 25. His Beloved Mate
Yasmin sighed as she walked out of her bedroom. It had been hours since breakfast, and Kristain should have been home, but he was nowhere to be found. Her heart ached, wondering if he intentionally planned to avoid coming home or had gotten hurt at the hunt. She shrugged, discarding the worries.
He was fine. He should be. She couldn’t remember the last time they had had issues with a hunt and doubted he had had any issues on the hunting grounds. She believed the boys only went there because they needed space to themselves at times and a place to shift and roam the grounds.
She picked up her phone and called his phone, but it was off. “Damn, Kristain. Where are you?” she cursed.
She scowled, hating the worry she felt, and stood up from her bed, heading to the living room. Maybe some TV time would do the trick and get her mind off the worries.
