Chapter 30. So Comforting

I was sitting on a chair with a pout while Brianna was touching up my makeup before I shot the final scene of the movie.

“Why isn't he picking up my call?” I murmured.

Aaron didn't receive my calls after he hung up on me yesterday. Did I say anything to upset him? I couldn't help but wonder.

“Maybe he's busy,” Juliette said.

I hummed in response, looking at Aaron and my photos. I had tons of our photos together since I clicked photos at every chance I got with him. I even had a separate folder filled with Aaron's candid which I took without his permission. His annoyed expressions were the best of all.

“Veronica, come on the set,” hollered my director, Mr. Scott.

“Best of luck, ma'am,” Juliette and Brianna wished. I flashed them a smile and went to the green set.

“Everyone, take your position,” the director ordered and everyone abided. The clapperboard was prepared as he started, “Okay, actio—”
