Chapter 38. No Connection
My eyes jolted open at the hammering headache. I sat up and rubbed my eyes before checking the time. It was two in the afternoon.
There was a faint pain in my back, and I smelled like shit. I scared myself half to death when I saw my own reflection in the dressing table mirror. “How did I get here?” I muttered.
I immediately remembered a few flashes of Aaron carrying me here. God, how did he not get petrified by my horrid look? My fans would shame me to death if they saw me in this state.
Shaking my head, I got down from the bed and freshened up, still the pounding headache racking my brains from the flash images from last night. I was out drinking with Robert till late because I was mad at Aaron, and I didn't remember anything that happened after I passed out from drinking or how I reached home.
