Chapter 34. Cat Day
“Sweetheart, you are not serious, right?” I let out, looking at the white Persian cat with wide eyes.
“No, I'm very serious, Aunt Vonnie,” Seneca said and flashed me a sweet smile.
“I did not come early from office for this sh—” I shot Aaron a glare to stop from saying any bad words. “This cute little creature,” he corrected himself.
“Why did you bring it to us?” I asked.
“Papa and Momma are going on a business trip with me. Granny said she has a cat allergy and told me to take it to you guys,” said the five-year-old girl.
“But I hate cats, Sen,” Aaron interrupted.
“But you are not allergic to them, right, Uncle Ron?” Seneca flashed him a puppy look, her blue eyes filling up with tears. “Won't you look after my Anna?”
Aaron crossed his arms, determined not to take it in the car. But he couldn't last in front of his niece and nodded. “Fine, it can stay here. But your aunt is going to look after it.”
