Chapter 25. Introduction

I sighed and controlled myself so that I could fight the urge to kick him in the ass. Victor must have felt that I was getting impatient, so he held my shoulder and caressed it. When I opened my eyes, I matched the glares of Uriel. 

"Listen. I am going to negotiate with you very carefully," I said. "In the future, our kinds will clash against each other and find ways to obliterate the world of immortals. You might think that I am going crazy, but that day will come."

Uriel did not say anything and must be listening to me now. He must have realized that he should be regarding me now. Or I don't know!
