Today was the day. The day everybody was looking forward to and anticipating. The start of the student week. I don’t really have anything planned. Weird that I don’t know my group members. Maybe when the activities unfold, we’d get to know each other.

The list of activities was announced on the school forum. We’re starting with an essay writing competition. I won’t lie; I dislike anything related to essays. It drains up my energy. I fancy reading, though, but the essay writing part is something I don’t really put myself into.

My phone chimed from the bed as I was getting ready to leave. Nora’s name flashed across the screen. I knew it had to be her. She’s the one taking the stuff so seriously. I slid the accept button and put it on speaker mode while I combed my hair.
