My vision began turning blurry as I passed my card to the cashier. I needed to prepare myself. If I wasn’t mistaken, the reason why I was in that state was because of my period.

“Are you okay, miss?” the young lady asked as she packed the sanitary pads in a nylon bag for me.

“Yeah, somehow,” my voice came out low.

“I think you should go to the hospital. Do you experience that whenever you’re on your period?” she asked. I had never really experienced that before. I normally got stomach pains.

But the way I was experiencing a new symptom was weird. “This is actually the first time.”

“I suggest you go see a doctor. You shouldn’t take just any medication without a proper prescription,” she said, handing me the nylon bag.

“Thank you, ma’am. I will go see a doctor.”

She let out a smile. “That’s good. I wish you a quick recovery.”

I thanked her once again and made my way out. I decided to go to the hospital
