Chapter 17

Since the afternoon, I have been feeling somehow uneasy. I had a feeling my periods were on their way. I usually have massive cramps. And when it happens, it drags me down seriously. And it changes my mood completely. Until I get some medicines from the pharmacy.
Mom noticed my mood as I trekked to the kitchen to get a glass of water. When I came out, her eyes were still fixated on me.
“Are you okay?” she asked.
I could barely stand for more than two seconds. “I have this weird feeling. My period is on its way.”
“You still have the cramps medication?” she asked again. I nodded no. I finished the remaining tablets last time and didn’t buy another pack.
“I’m stepping out to meet someone. So I will stop by a pharmacy and get them for you.”
A smile made its way out of me. “Thank you, Mom.”
I plopped my legs on the center table as I rested my head back.
“I’m leaving. Be alert of the door,” I heard Mom’s v
