“You didn’t kill Miriam, did you?” I asked worriedly. I and Moriah had gotten out of the castle’s forecourt and were now running along the castle wall as fast as we could. I held my gown up with both hands and ran with bare feet so as not to slow down our pace. We were sure Andreian soldiers were behind us and would catch up if we dared to relent.
