Chapter 10. Did He Faint?

"Sir? Sir!" another instructor called as he was having trouble reaching for the man. Julian's position was right in the middle.

“Get up, Sir! You've landed safely," the uniformed man exclaimed, starting to break out in a cold sweat since Julian didn't move at all.

After a while, more noises spread through the air. However, among the vibrations, only one slipped unhindered into the CEO's ear.

“Did Mr. Julian really faint?”

In just an instant, the memory of the deal with the secretary replayed. In one swift movement, Julian straightened and opened his eyes wide.

"I didn't pass out." His sigh made everyone fall silent. "I didn't faint!" he cried before laughing and raising his fists in the air.

A second later, instead of getting down, he lay back down and looked up at the sky. One challenge had been successfully passed. The intense pressure that originally pressed against the head and chest had dissipated, leaving a huge space of relief.
