Unfortunately, Mia did not answer. She only maintained an uneasy look that made anyone who saw her wonder.
“Did you snatch away Mia's courage? She's not usually like this," Max said, successfully grabbing his brother's attention.
While narrowing his gaze, Julian said, “Don't make fun of me! This is not the time to be joking."
"But I'm serious. We thought you would have that kind of expression, not Mia,” the younger brother implied with an even face.
After a moment of silence, the CEO took a quick breath, “After bungee jumping, what did you do to make me better?”
"Don't you remember at all?" Max asked wide-eyed.
"No. My mind was completely blank at that time. Maybe now, Mia is the same as me,” Julian said as he took the courage to hold the girl's hand. The slender fingers felt very cold and sweaty. "So, what did you give me?"
“A cup of sweet tea. You get better right away after drinking it.”
