Chapter 11

It was Monday, so Heather braced herself for a long day of sitting hunched over at her computer, working.

‘At least Zac is talking to me now,’ she said to herself. 

Unfortunately for her, he had to help review some accounts, so he didn’t show up by her side until a while. 

‘Zac of all trades,’ she thought to herself laughingly.

There was still a lot to do. After presenting the brief tomorrow, they would need to start making calls, renting out places to hold the event, and making brand merchandise. A lot of stuff went into it, and Igalmen needed all hands on deck. 

“Heather, can I trust you to lead the presentation tomorrow?” Igalmen asked her wearily. 

“You can count on me, sir.” 

She went back to her desk to edit her slideshow when she saw she had a text from Anna. 

‘He told me he understands, but I don’t believe him. I feel like I need a male’s perspective on this. What about asking your boss for advice?
