After the dead crows had all been taken care of, we were all ordered to continue working. Me? Working on a farm? Who would have ever thought? I would have taken off long ago but that would mean the Alpha would find out I refused to obey his orders and I left. I couldn’t risk ruining my carefully built image in front of him. He still needs to see me as the perfect girl he knows, that way, I was sure I would have his approval when things finally get serious between Owen and me.
