Luna Dizane’s POV
I kept observing the Alpha and what he’d been up to. I couldn’t afford to let him know what I'd been doing. The things I’d involved myself in just made him secure in my life. I had learned that another servant girl had been assigned to the human to care for her. I felt very betrayed. Why had the Alpha gone through that stress for that human wench? She wasn’t part of us. Her kind were a big threat to us, and she should be seen as a threat too.
This was the reason why I was doing what I was doing, and I would not stop until all these things blow over and I’m the one smiling at the end. Meaidan and Taiban were yet to get back to me; I hope they hadn’t fumbled and done a messy job. It was too early to be caught in the game. I had initially thought this would all blow over when the Alpha discovered her missing and continued about his duties. I hadn’t expected him to be this frayed around the edges and worked up over it.
