Hazel's POV

Mama Lia didn’t die? She just left? Left to where? Was I doing the right thing by listening to this wolf? I was beginning to question my willingness to accept whatever I was hearing and the voice that was saying these ludicrous things.

Mama Lia grew cold before my very eyes. She stopped breathing. She became pale and dead. Her lips no longer moved, and had I mentioned she had stopped drawing breath?

I really did not want to freak out. I needed to understand more. I was beginning to realize all these were events greater than me. Even the ability to understand any of them had to be divinely given, or else I'd just be lost.
