Ragel’s POV

After the Alpha had left my presence, I had gone deep into my thoughts. What did the Alpha mean by that statement? He had sounded so desperate and frustrated. There was something going on here, and it wasn’t just a human who was supposed to be killed going missing. It was something more. Something I could only guess would be life-changing, and the life it could change was that of the Alpha's.

I was angry and vengeful towards the human girl, but this was a new development that I had to pause and think about. I needed to understand what was going on before I dealt with her as planned. My loyalty would always lie with the Alpha, and I would do whatever I had to do, whatever was within my power, to ensure he was safe; being put in a cell didn’t matter.
