Hazel's POV

"Who’s ready for lunch?"

Mama Mia waltzed into the sitting room just as the Alpha was smiling in gratitude.

"I see you guys are done."

She looked at both of our faces with a smile.

"And from the look of things, I guess it went well."

She gave me a look. It was both pleasing and grateful. I didn’t know why I suddenly felt shy and was propelled to look away from her pleasantly smiling face, only to meet the grateful, relieved Alpha. I quickly removed my eyes from his before I became too hooked to actually look away. It would be embarrassing to be caught staring into his very attractive eyes.

"And she finally agrees that he’s attractive."

"Not now, Lia."

"I thought you didn’t like him."

"I still don’t like him. I never said I liked him."

"But you think he’s attractive, huh?"
