Chapter 41. Crashing Waves and a Broken Heart

Winona didn’t know why her heart screamed when she heard those words that came out of Richard’s mouth. However, she could only stay silent and lowered her head, then started eating. Winona tried to convince herself that returning to her life as a human and starting over from scratch was the best thing.
